Tutorial Notes

  1. Go to https://github.com/SpotMetrix/SimpleGeo-iPhone/, download the project and open it in Xcode.

  2. Build and install the SimpleGeo app onto your device. Run the app, go to the places tab and verify that annotations appear on the map.

  3. Go to http://3dar.us/docs/ and follow the steps for integrating 3DAR.

  4. Open PlacesMapviewContoller.m then implement viewDidAppear: and call [mapView startCamera] to display a live camera view, or call [mapView addBackground] add a spherical panoramic background using 3dar_pano_bg.png.
